Coachwork by Michelotti

Unique Coupe, designed and built by Michelotti - commissioned by Luigi Chinetti.

This unique Ferrari carries chassis number 9083 and was given a beautiful body by Giovanni Michelotti. It is a unique 330 creation which began life as on a 2+2 chassis and converted into a two-seater coupe.

In 1987 Rob Drew commissioned a comprehensive restoration which lasted two years. It was shown at the 1989 Pebble Beach Concours where it took second place.

Since then the car has been acknowledged both in minature, BBR models manufacturing a 1:43 scale model of the car, and at Concours level with an award at the 2006 Greenwich Concours D'Elegance for "Most Outstanding Ferrari". Recently the car was exhibited at the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

With it's unique styling the Michelotti 4 litre will always stand out and be a "head turner", be it static at a concours or on the road where lighter than standard bodywork allow performance which one owner recalled is "similar to a 400 Superamerica or 500 Superfast"

Rare opportunity to own a one-off mid sixties Ferrari GT - and a car that is likely to be welcomed at all the big events.
