Delivered new to Hollywood Sports Cars in California, the car's first owner was the actor Alex Cord - who probably referred to this actual car when he wrote his memoirs - "From Wheelbarrow to Ferrari: And Back Again"
The car was sold after a couple of years to George Belyea of Fresno. After a 14 year ownership spell, the car found a new home with fabled hot rod legend - Don Orosco. The car stayed in California with it's next owner - Robert Piccini - who had the the car mechanically and cosmetically restored by Tom Watling. Following the completion of the restoration in 1987 the car was shipped to Europe.
The car has recently benefited from a cosmetic restoration to it's original colours of Bleu (20-A-185) over a Beige (VM 3218) leather interior and was granted full Ferrari Classiche certification.
A rare and extremely desirable alloy bodied derivative of the 275 GTB model
